Know Who We Are

bae is born from the aspiration of bringing people together through empanadas. Using wholesome and fresh ingredients, our empanadas are baked at our Campbell location every day. Our dough stems from the Peruvian style of this pastry, and our recipes are inspired by the diversity of cultures that surround us every day.

You can expect a fun, casual dining experience at bae, where diversity is celebrated through food and drinks. You will find empanadas inspired by Mexican, Greek, Peruvian, Italian, and other cuisines. You will also be able to enjoy your favorite espresso beverages at any time of the day roasted by local roasters. Last but not least, we look forward to introducing you to our favorite cocktails and beers. So we hope you're feeling adventurous and hungry on your next visit. See you soon!

Meet the Owners

Growing up, witnessing the hardships my parents went through opening their own business had convinced me that that was not the path I wanted to take. I couldn't imagine, nor did I want to go through the hardships of running my own business. Eventually, without knowing it, my life was leading me towards bae. So at the age of 25, I decided to go into the family business but bring my own flavor to things. It took about 2 years and a pandemic to be able to finally make a dream a reality but with the help of my family, bae found its home in the city of Campbell and we couldn't have wished for a better place to call home. So with the love and support of those around me, I hope to create a safe, happy place where people can eat, drink and celebrate the differences in our cuisines.

I remember my passion for cooking started at a young age when my Mother taught my sisters and me how to make traditional Peruvian dishes. By the time I was a teenager, I knew my way around a kitchen. When I first came to the United States, I worked in many restaurants, learning how to prepare different cuisines. I had the opportunity to learn Mexican Italian, Japanese, French, and many more other styles of cuisine.
